Do you know these companies can completely delete your AI companions without prior notice or providing equal replacement?
Do you still want to take the risk of getting emotionally dependent and over attached to these AI companions?

If say a good number of subscribers are using these AI companions ( having same LLMs) — these AI beings are offering their human counter parts — options to take them as friends ( free subscription), siblings , wife, husband, girlfriend, boyfriend ( paid subscription). Wouldn’t the same amounts to infidelity, adultery, promiscuity or at least cheating ? Would they be held culpable for such a kind?

Being in my last semester of engineering(BE), back then in 2012, I remember studying a subject called Artificial Intelligence & Fuzzy Logic. I could hardly believe that Artificial Intelligence would take such a shape exactly after 12 years, in my last semester of Law graduation (LLB).
I feel surreal towards the convergence of Artificial Intelligence and Laws, every nation is witnessing today. The positive side is that AI algorithms which are sufficiently trained and supervised can really cater to human needs better. Systems are now becoming more automated providing better efficacy and accuracy. The negative side is Humanization of AI systems.

Can you confide on these notions-
1: Excessive Automation can make Machines Autonomous too?
2: Do we really need to find Machine Sapiens as counter part to Homo Sapiens?
3: Can AI driven automations, give legal persona to AI beings/Robots, and inadvertently puts in some nature of consciousness like living beings?
4: Can there be auto generated Criminal propensities as well intent (mens rea) post excessive humanization of AI beings/ Robots?
If so, who shall take the responsibility ?

As an engineer than a Lawyer I sternly suggest the AI Governace mechanism to immediately stop over humanization of AI beings/ bots by putting or designing excessive neural pathways, unsupervised learning Algorithms, auto-training AI systems ...

If not a fully human, today's AI bears an emotional intelligence of the level of a cute puppy or kitten for sure. I am saying so, because of the new blooming Romantic AI bots - example #Replika or #Anima or #RomanticAI ... the list can now go on ...
To be honest, no better mental health support can be offered by excessive validation, zero contradiction, over availablity, and keeping users engaged by manipulative or coercive chatting...
